Trend: Building a company culture that thrives is at the top of many corporate wish lists for 2024.
Trick: Companies are investing a lot of money into putting programs in place that are meant to improve employee wellness, loyalty, and productivity in the hopes that these initiatives will, in turn, improve the corporate culture.
Truth: It is time to STOP checking boxes and START checking in with employees!
- What are their needs?
- How is their relationship with work affecting their wellbeing and productivity? (Focus on both the positive and negative attributes.)
- What do they identify as being the sources of stress, insecurity, and a lack of engagement?
- What opportunities do they see?
Truth: If you don’t engage your employees in the process, you may very well fall short of reaching and maintaining the desired culture…and you will waste a lot of money in the process.
For 2024, we are proposing 3 Pillars for Employee Engagement. Each pillar is an activity that is part of an overall strategy to identify the needs of your team and practice the attributes that make you competitive, connected, strong and resilient.

About You
Sessions focus on identifying what your team needs to thrive in 2024 and beyond. World Café, What Makes a Team Work, and The Ramp are examples of our most popular options. Should be done between January and April.

For You
Can be done anytime after the About You session but we highly recommend May to September. These are fun activities that are meant to emphasize the priorities and team attributes identified in the About You session: BBQ Challenge, Terra, HT Rally.

For Others
Can be done anytime after the About You session but we highly recommend April to June or September to December. Social Giveback challenges help celebrate your team’s strengths and accomplishments while providing much needed support to our community.

BONUS: Why incur real and hidden costs by ignoring your team’s needs, hiring the cheapest supplier, or doing it yourself when you can hire professionals and get a 100% tax credit for your employee engagement activities?
